Here are some facts about the Colonialism in India…
Today we got the task to search for some facts for the colonialism in India. I first searched some interesting pictures and maps, which show how much influence the British Empire had during those times… In this time the British Empire had had much influence all over the world. As you can see on the map, the Queen Victoria ruled over about 25% of the whole world! This is really astonishing. The Indians had to pay taxes for everything and the money went straight to the government, which built hospitals and schools. Sounds good so far…, but this hospitals and schools were not for the Indian people. Only the English were allowed to visit those places… The English people didn’t talk to the Indians or whatever… They were, if they even had a Job just a servant or a cook… They didn’t have any private property and were dependent on their English bosses.
